Throwback To The 90s

I didn’t actually get the chance to enjoy the 90s, since I was mostly a kid throughout the decade. But there is something really magical about it that often calls my attention.

Today I decided to do this throwback post about the 90s to share with you my passion for this decade.

I love watching movies from the 90s. Watching those scenes where people are walking on the streets not looking at their cellphones or taking selfies. But talking and sharing experiences with each other really inspires me.

Ghost (1990) with Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore and Whoopi Goldberg is my favorite movie of all time. The fact that I live in the city where this movie takes place makes me love it even more. Can we talk about Sam and Molly’s apartment in the movie? Yes, that is my dream home.

Talking about the 90s and not talking about music is impossible. I have a lot of favorite artists from the 90s such as Whitney Houston, Sinéad O’Connor, Nirvana and R.E.M. But the album “No Need To Argue” from “The Cranberries” has a lot of meaning for me.

Well I was raised having my parents listening to those songs. All of these artists usually take me back to when I was a kid and makes me remember those early mornings when my mom used to drive me to school. This kind of music would be mostly likely playing on the radio.

For today’s 90s look I am wearing a pair of Zara ripped jeans, the red high tops Converse and an Eternal World Tour tank top from Forever 21.

To add even more of the nineties style to my look I added this red Members Only jacket from L Train Vintage in Bushwick Brooklyn. Also, I cannot forget about the Casio vintage watch, the soul of this look is in its details.

I hope you enjoyed my 90s look and if you also feel inspired by that decade, don’t forget to like and comment below your favorite movies, artists and brands from the 90s.

Ps.: I wrote this blog post listening to The Cranberries. Dolores O’Riordan will be missed.
